Bavarian State Exhibition 2024 in Freising “Tassilo, Korbinian and the Bear – Bavaria in the Early Middle Ages”
The Bavarian State Exhibition “Tassilo, Korbinian and the Bear – Bavaria in the Early Middle Ages” offers fascinating insights into Bavaria’s history between the 6th and 9th centuries. As a photographer, I was entrusted with the exciting task of capturing this impressive exhibition through expressive imagery that highlights its atmosphere, exhibits, and spatial design.
My focus was on the harmonious interplay of historical artifacts, elaborate scenography, and the exhibition’s distinctive lighting mood. From detailed close-ups of significant objects to atmospheric overviews of the spatial design, my photo documentation reveals the unique aesthetics and visual impact of this remarkable show.
This project combined the precision of museum photography with the creative challenge of presenting historical content in a visually engaging yet documentary way – bringing history to life through imagery.
