Pfahlbaumuseum Unteruhldingen

Pfahlbaumuseum Unteruhldingen — UNESCO World Heritage Site on Lake Constance.

The photography of Pfahlbaumuseum Unteruhldingen was created on behalf of Jangled Nerves GmbH. Founded in 1922, this open-air museum on Lake Constance is one of the most significant and most visited archaeological museums in Europe — with 23 reconstructed pile dwelling houses, an affiliated research institute, and up to 300,000 visitors annually. Since 2011, the prehistoric pile dwellings have been recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The photographic documentation covers the interior spaces and exhibition areas of the museum — exhibits, spatial concept, lighting, and the distinctive atmosphere of the museum building.

The images have been kindly approved for publication by the Verein für Pfahlbau- und Heimatkunde e. V. — copyright remains with the association.
